"Please can we hear the cool bump music on 360 again?"
I am an adult who doesn't want to hear the "cool bump music," at any time on 360.
If you want to hear bump music, watch a music channel.
I want to hear and see the news and I'm not nine years old.
If you need to be entertained while you're digesting or deciphering the news, maybe you shouldn't be watching CNN or anything on cable.
Memo to tweens: Anderson is going to be 45. Most forty-five year olds have families and children and responsiblities.
They don't need to listen to bump music while their watching THE NEWS.

are on to something, apparently for the 1st
time a SOU will feature crowdsourcing. CNN

Ouch. My eyes hurt. The white on white
graphics does not work on television. I
can't watch New Room with Broke Baldwin.

CNN could be making some extra millions
by offering free episodes of 360 online after
it airs on CNN. When you watch shows online,
you can't skip the ads. You guys have to keep
in mind that Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney
are in the same demo as the news executives.
It does not help that when you go to the CNN
website that Piers Morgan is the fade of CNN
TV . Sure online viewers will watch a celebrity
interview show for an hour. It is not Stewart,
Colbert , Conan or Fallon.

Anderson Cooper is about to have 2 million
Twitter followers sometime today, later this
week he will have more than 650,000 Face
Book fans. I believe the 360 staff should be
more engaging with us on Face Book /Twitter,
Google Plus and sign up on Pininterest. It can
be Anderson, Isha, 360 correspondents and
all of the people involved in the show. I've
been a fan of 360 from the start. Please can
we hear the cool bump music again. Even
reach out to viewers to help come up with
a theme song and bump music. Also, why
can't we get full episodes of 360 on the web.

It;s funny how the media is way behind Jon
Stewart when it comes the words that come
out of Mitt Romney's mouth. Morning Joe was
all over it this morning. Gingrich vs Romney
is not like Obama and HRC in 2008. Kimmel
says it best. It is a race between 2 middle
aged white males to see who ill be the GOP
nominee. Yawn.

CNN needs to understand that you can't make
Romney or Gingrich exciting. Only if you are a
political type, like the pundits and reporters who
eat, sleep and breathe politics you are not feeling
the over the top political coverage. Think about
your viewing audience and not yourselves CNN.
Stop leaving out your viewers. You do so at your
own peril. If CNN is not offering news viewers
will shop elsewhere. I can't watch cable news
in the morning anymore for that reason. Yeah,
like the average viewer has politics on the brain
in the morning. Why are the talking heads given
a platform on CNN ? What is in it for viewers.
Absolutely nothing.

CNN hired all of these talking heads and the
boss says use them because we are paying them.
They might be on the CNN payroll but it ends
up costing CNN viewers.. Nobody is talking about
Gingrich or Romney that much this morning.
Us normal folks are talking about the Super
Bowl and other stuff. Politics is not on the mind
of the viewing public as much as it is on cable
news. Can you say disconnect ?

Take a look at the ratings. Viewers don't care for
the political show put on daily by CNN. How much
of the U.S. population happen to be tied to politics
for a living ? A small percentage. It is useless info
for the rest of us. Where is the news on CNN ?
When the ratings are released for SC primary,
it will be some of the lowest numbers on record.

The man knows how to work story-telling.
As a viewer, I felt I was experiencing the
events in Central America. That is how you
engage viewers. I like Amber Lyon too.

Get ready for some spin. It looks like
FNC & MSNBC are flat or down. CNN might
be up a little. We are certain that they all
were hoping for bigger ratings for the GOP
primaries. Is there boredom ? Is there slow
shifting towards 360 ? Are viewers channel
surfing ? What will the numbers look like
for Q 1 which ends in March ? Right now
there are many question but few answers.

We caution these are preliminary. The season
is still early and we are only talking 1 month.

With 1 week remaining in the Jan 2012 cable news
season and the clock running down, we thought
we would offer some preliminary ratings fro the
cable news channels. V BY HE NUMBERS is the
data source. Minus the ratings for Friday.

360 is averaging 583,000/176,000

ED is averaging 942,000/180,000

BOR is averaging 2,719,000/615,000

Soon we will learn if 360 gets a split decision.
Friday's ratings will matter.

At 10, 360 is averaging 753,000/284,000

TLW is averaging 788,000/163,000

OTR is averaging 1,624,000/395,000

This is the hour to watch in cable news.
There is some unfinished business. It is
a safe bet that 360 will finish 2nd in the
demo. There are some questions. Will 360
top TLW in totals as well ? How close will
the demo be with Anderson & Greta. Does
this mean that 360 is moving up but both
TLW & OTR are moving down ? No enough
data yet .

In prime time CNN is averaging 935,000 in
totals with 244,00 in the demo.

MSNBC is averaging 931,000/219,000

FNC is averaging 2,406,000/488,000

CNN is likely to top MSNBC in prime time
given the busy week ahead.

You can tell by the hires that CNN thought the
Tea Party and Republicans would dominate
politics. They painted themselves into a corner.
CNN got it wrong again. That is now the norm
for CNN. Stop telling viewers what they think
or feel. You didn't talk to me nor do pundits
represent me. Even Current TV called it at the
top of the hour. CNN looked bad last night.
All 3 are nothing but 24/7 political channels.

ratings will be low. CNN was too boring with
all of the talk. it was a real turnoff. CNN,FNC

Glad Dana Loesch was not present on any of the political panels last night, but unfortunately she still seems to be on CNN's roster of contributors.

Yes, CNN's poltical pundits, we KNOW that Republicans want to do whatever it takes to get President Obama out of the White House, but unlike what you try to convince some of us, NONE of the current presidential candidates are anywhere near President Obama's equal. I don't care how much of a "fighter" Newt is or how much money and "business skills" (yeah right) Romney has, everyone continues to underestimate just how good a candidate President Obama was when he took out the competition in 2008 and he was a relative BEGINNER then. Yes the economy has taken a hit, but as Andrew Sullivan says, the Republicans and pundits are misinforming the public about what President Obama actually achieved to stop the bleeding. It's up to HIS team to remind the country of what he can do because the pundits on CNN and Fox sure aren't going to do it - they are on an "anyone but Obama" narrative now. The President ALWAYS gets counted out by the pundits and the public but he ALWAYS comes back and I think this is what is going to happen again, regardless of the angry public sentiments towards him in certain parts of the country and the pundits determination to declare him all but dead and buried.

CNN needs to get it's act together right now.
All media outlets reported a wide Gingrich
victory by 7 PM however CNN made it seem
like it was a close race until after 7 :30 PM.
It went on and on until midnight. SC was over
before it started and CNN went on and on
with boring talk for nothing.

CNN is falling behind with breaking news and
news making the rounds as well. CNN was late
with the Joe Paterno death. The Gingrich SC
is old news. There is also the story of a Jewish
paper in Atlanta calling for the Israeli Mossad
to assassinate President Obama. The editor
of the paper has been widely denounced in the
Jewish community. Has anyone seen this story
on CNN ? Would it be the same response if it
was an Islamic newspaper. CNN is coming across
as trying to control the news. Yet they think
Gingrich attacking the media is news. This goes
on all of the time with conservatives. They just
trick the media into wasting time on this non
news story instead of real news.

differently tonight. Don't be repetitive, Reset
the race. The narrative does not jive with what
CNN has been reporting. I hope that substance
wins out over spin. Starting today it is a very
busy week. You have the SC primary tonight,
State Of the Union on Tuesday and CNN will
have a debate.
