Hot Fun In The Summertime

Since we are in the dog days of summer we couldn't think of a more appropriate time to select CNN's hottest. So turn on the air conditioner, grab your ice tea and take a few minutes to consider who is hot enough to deserve your vote.
All nominees were submitted by our readers and are listed in what we deemed to be the most appropriate categories. They are listed in alphabetical order and pictures posted are their official CNN bio photos (when available).

Hottest Male Anchor:

Hottest Female Anchor:

Hottest Male Reporter:

Hottest Female Reporter:

Hottest Producer:

We thank everybody for the great nominations and let the voting begin!

While we're on the topic off all things hot Richard Roth did a report earlier this week, for American Morning, on hot times at the United Nations. Take a look.

And it's a bit off the hot topic but Ali Velshi returned to American Morning on Tuesday sporting a fresh new look. Guess he wanted to be included in the mustache gang I wrote about last week?

That's it for me this week. Stay safe and stay cool.~Phebe

I like these polls. Very fun. It was fairly easy choices. It'll be interesting to see who wins.

Off topic, but Ed Henry seems to have replaced John King as White House Political reporter. We have seen very little of John King. Could he have his resume in other places?

This poll is a self full-filling prophecy. We know AC will win. The question remains: Why bother?

Oh, such fun!

I wanted to vote for the producer in the middle (he's cute!), but I don't know his name, so I just guessed it was Charlie Moore. So if he's not, please give my vote to the cute one, lol.

@Kristien, I hadn't had time to put up the picture of Charlie Moore yet, sorry. When you voted I think Tommy Evans was in the middle, and yes he is a cutie! Who knew that CNN has such great looking people behind the cameras too?

Kristien said...

Thanks for letting me know who I voted for, Phebe. (Charlie Moore is not bad looking either...)

I'm glad to see Hala Gorani has been nominated.
Tough choice for the producers. Could I vote twice? Even three times? Oh no, I have to pick one and only one...
Thanks for the fun!

this is way too much fun andI agree that this will require multiple visits so that I can vote for ALL my favorites. Thank you for this fun distraction!!!

@ anon 12:53. I myself have not voted yet and I of course think AC is absolutely gorgeous but I think there a good few ohters that I may vote for. Not every person who comes to ATC is AC fan only. Obvisiously others were nominated by our readers. So it could get interesting

Look, there are lots of hot anchors, reporters and such ... but really .... no one can come close to the team of Michael Ware (reporter) and Thomas Evans (producer and sometime reporter). For brains, brawn, courage, accomplishment and general hotness these two are the only possible choices.

Resistence is futile.

Kiran Chetry is the hottest of them all. I think she's gorgeous, pro-choice and crazy for Obama. What's not to like?

Hottest Special Correspondent? Soledad O'Brien
