Welcome Back, Lou!

Today was Lou Dobbs' first day back on the job and he was feistier than ever! Although I like Kitty Pilgrim, it's nice to see Mr. Dobbs back at the helm. This weekend, Saturday Night Live did a Lou Dobbs skit. Wolf Blitzer used the clip to welcome Lou back this afternoon during The Situation Room. My thanks to BookAsylum for the video!

CNN hosted a private screening of the landmark documentary Planet in Peril in New York City this evening. Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta attended the event which took place at the Hayden Planetarium in the American Museum of Natural History.

Planet In Peril will air in two parts on October 23rd and October 24th.

Good heavens, Sanjay's tie certainly makes a statement! I'm not sure it's a good thing when I notice the tie first and not the person wearing it...::grin::

Great clip about Lou and SNL. They are usually spot on with their paradies.

That was classic SNL. I loved it and Lou didn't seem to mind either. Thanks for the clip!
